Hello, I’m Celina Cherry, a student in the Coordinated Program in Dietetics at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Through this program, I am completing academic coursework and supervised practice experiences across community nutrition, foodservice management, and clinical dietetics.
Before entering the field of nutrition, I served 20 years in the United States Air Force as a Public Health Technician. My background in public health, leadership, and health promotion continues to influence my approach to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
I am passionate about using nutrition to support long-term health and to make practical, science-driven guidance accessible—especially within diverse and underserved communities. Throughout my training, I continue to build competence in nutrition assessment, foodservice operations, community outreach, and professional leadership.
This e-portfolio highlights the projects, practicum experiences, and professional development I am gaining as I work toward becoming a Registered Dietitian. Thank you for visiting and learning more about my journey in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
