Hello, I’m Celina Cherry, a first-year student in the Coordinated Program in Dietetics at UTSA. This master’s program allows me to merge my passion for nutrition with a strong foundation in scientific research and applied practice.
Prior to starting this journey, I spent 20 years in the United States Air Force as a Public Health Technician, where I developed skills in health promotion, adaptability, and leadership qualities I now apply during my supervised practice and academic training in dietetics.
I’m passionate about using nutrition to support individuals and communities in improving their long-term health. My goal is to become a Registered Dietitian who blends evidence-based science with practical tools to make healthy living more accessible, especially in underserved populations.
This portfolio highlights my practicum experiences in foodservice management, where I’ve explored food safety, meal production, and teamwork in a real-world setting. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I’m proud to share the experiences that have shaped me so far and look forward to making a meaningful impact in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
